These are my first purchase of groomer supply house shears and I already want to purchase more pairs. These are an aggressive shear that makes speedy work of your scissoring. They cut like butter and are a perfect in between for thinners and chunkers. Like I said they are aggressive though so if you're looking for a softer finish with a thinner I would go with these for the base trimming and follow up with another thinner of your choice. I absolutely love these shears and have used them on every dog since they arrived.
